Yet the geometry of the situation may change now that Yahoo and eBay have announced a multi-year "strategic partnership" with four major components: search (along with graphical advertising), online payments, a co-branded toolbar, and the emerging "click-to-call" functionality. The companies said their agreement will be fully up to speed in 2007.
